The annual Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival returns after a hugely successful inaugural edition. This is a unique and sophisticated African-vintage styled event celebrating the local, the wholesome, the creative, and the delicious, and will be taking place on August 3rd 2019.

House On Fire studio artwork begins with a vision, a story that needs to be told, a feeling that finds its expression through the grain of the wood or the mark of a chisel. Often humorous or tranquil, loud or questioning, the process and final product display an inseparability of myth and reality that is reflected in the surrounding spaces and events.
Of particular importance to the works is the sensitive use of locally sourced materials. Wooden pieces are made from invasive trees, and soapstone is quarried from the highveld of Swaziland, where it lies in abundance.
